Disabled Parking
There is NO parking of any kind in Dunster Village from 2:30pm on the days of Dunster by Candlelight. An ordinary Candlelight Bus scheme is in operation from Minehead, Williton, Watchet and Wheddon Cross. None of the buses will be able to pick up in any of the villages in between. Details of the regular bus services can be found here.
From Minehead there is a small bus service for disabled visitors.
Follow the signs in Minehead for disabled Parking which will be at the same place as the main Candlelight buses at the West Somerset Railway Car Park. A special mini bus for disabled visitors will run from 5pm on the Friday and 4pm on the Saturday. This bus will run during the evening. The last bus will leave Dunster just before 10pm. There will be a short walk from where this bus stops in Dunster before you reach the main High Street and the centre of Candlelight. Candlelight takes place throughout the village which is approximately 400 yards long not counting up the hill to the Castle or through the gardens to the Tithe Barn or Church.
